The victim, age 25, reported the incident through the Lawrenceburg Police Department around 9:35 p.m. He stated that he had been patronizing King Pin Lanes, 321 Crews Street, when he went outside to smoke a cigarette. He told officers that he got into a vehicle belonging to his cousin, and that three other men were inside.

The victim stated that one of the men told him “they were going to rob him and he could make it easy or hard.” H said that the driver, his cousin, then began to drive away. At one point, the victim stated that he attempted to exit the vehicle, causing him to be dragged. He stated that he was taken to Bobby Brewer Memorial Park where the four “beat him up.”

The victim told officers that the four men stole his wallet, which contained approximately $30 in cash, along with his cell phone and keys, as well as a set of keys belonging to another individual.

The victim stated that he was eventually able to get away from the men, then ran all the way back to King Pin Lanes. There, a call was placed to summon help. Officers noted that the victim had sustained a number of bruises and abrasions. He was transported to Crockett Hospital by private vehicle for medical attention.
